ABOUT

Born to Cuban parents in Newark, New Jersey, Dennis was destined for a career in the spotlight.  As a child he achieved notoriety as a gifted singer accompanying himself on guitar at recitals and local festivities.  He soon became known as “the Singing Scout” performing the National Anthem for the Boy Scouts of America at parades, dinners and community events across the state.  His love for art and music continued to develop, as did his passion for the theater which later led to a degree in Speech & Theater from Montclair State University and dozens of roles in NJ theaters.

After several detours through corporate America as a successful Human Resources executive, Dennis is back in the business working as a professional actor.  A graduate of T. Schreiber Studios’ Acting Conservatory program, he is continuously active in the New York theater scene and has appeared in over 20 Off & Off-Off Broadway plays winning the Best Actor Award at the Strawberry One Act Play Festival for his performance in “Paid Off” and the NY Innovative Theater Award for Outstanding Production after appearing as Frank in “Balm in Gilead” at the Gloria Maddox Theater.

On TV you can catch Dennis in episodes of "The Food That Built America", "A Crime to Remember" and the searing police drama "A Good Cop."  Dennis has also appeared in a variety of independent feature films including the lead role in the suspenseful indie thriller “The Ideal” and principal roles in “Into the Limelight”, “Before the Snow”, “Three From the Block” and “Reunion 108.”  Whether on stage or screen, he is always working and seeking new creative challenges.  Be sure to check the “News and Events” page to see where he’s performing next!
